Tivoli Quad at Auraria Campus // November 21 - December 31
It would be pretty cool if The Mile High Tree, presented by Xcel Energy & Xfinity, was actually a mile high, but still, 110 feet is pretty darn impressive! This year, the tree is at the Auraria Campus. You can step inside this free immersive art installation for a totally different view of the lights! Make sure to visit the Christkindlmarket while you're there.

Downtown Denver // December 6
Get into the holiday glow with Denver’s signature festive
event, the 9NEWS Parade of Lights! Kicking off at 6 p.m. on December 6,
downtown will sparkle with more than 40 dazzling parade units: think brilliantly
lit floats, giant helium-filled balloons, marching bands, horseback riders,
vibrant cultural displays, and yes, a special cameo by Major Waddles the
Penguin and Santa.

Denver // November 21 - December 31
New this year is the Mile High Drone Show! For 41 spectacular nights, 600 drones will light up the sky, creating holiday-themed animations. It starts on November 21 and runs through December 31 every night at 7 p.m. You'll be able to see it from most parts of the city!

1007 York St. (November 21 - January 11)
For over three decades, the Denver Botanic Gardens has brought you the holiday extravaganza that is Blossoms of Light. Tickets will be required to see the display, and they always sell out, so we recommend grabbing them sooner rather than later.

8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd. (Littleton) // November 21 - January 11 (check site for days/times)
This year, the Trail of Lights features fun new additions like synchronized music in the children’s play area, multiple light tunnels, and illuminated antique and model tractors on display. The farm will be open on various evenings from November through January. Check here for dates as well as tickets.

2300 Steele St. (City Park) // November 24 - January 4
Step into a winter wonderland at Zoo Lights, over three million sparkling lights decorating 80 acres of animal habitat and holiday fun. From Nov. 24 through Jan. 4, the zoo transforms into a luminous display perfect for families, friends, or a festive night out. Tickets are available online.

Of course, one of the easiest ways to see some lights is to jump in your car and take a drive through some local neighborhoods! Many residents like to go above and beyond and we’re totally on board. A few highlights include Wash Park, City Park, Westminster, Windsor Gardens, Lakewood, Knolls in Centennial and more!

Luminova at Elitch Garden 2000 Elitch Circle (Elitch Gardens) // November 28 - January 4
This new dazzling holiday display will get you in the spirit this season! This installation features over 4 million dazzling lights, a 25 ft snowman that never melts, a 300 ft candy cane tunnel, and a 65 ft Christmas tree with larger-than-life presents and ornaments scaling over 16 ft.

6115 S Santa Fe Dr. (Hudson Gardens) // November 28 - January 4
Dive into a magical evening at Hudson Holidays, wander through illuminated gardens, explore the lighted maze, and snap a photo with Santa.
