New restaurant openings aren’t slowing down.
Denver is a foodie city, let's be honest. So any chance we get to eat or sip at a new spot, we'll take it in a heartbeat! Here are recent openings that you should check out.

What began as a side project in 2019 has turned into a full-fledged business and now includes a newly opened retail location. Now, the bakery has opened it's first retail location inside of the Edgewater Public Market.

A new noodle shop has just made its home in Denver. Seattle's Reckless Noodles has opened its first out-of-state location in the Mile High City, but don't think this restaurant only offers noodles. The menu sees everything from fried rice to duck confit to caramelized prawns. Oh, and make sure to peruse the massive drinks list. One thing's for sure, you'll spend a bit of time at this spot.

Convivio Cafe is Denver's first-ever bi-lingual cafe. This Guatemalan-inspired, women-owned coffee shop is built around the idea of convivio — a get-together where all are invited. The shop promises to serve up beyond fair trade, farmer-roasted coffee, and culturally-rooted food. Stop by and support this cafe soon!

101 N. Broadway - Baker
Snooze has just opened up its fifth Colorado location with a new spot on Broadway. Though the restaurant has hit the big time on the national scene, it hasn't forgotten its Denver-based roots. We're hoping with this new addition, we'll be able to beat those long lines that Snooze is known for!

2811 Walnut St. - RiNo
With Stem Ciders leaving its former spot in RiNo to move into the old location of The Preservery, a hole was left in the neighborhood. That hole has now been filled with Howdy Beer, which Stem Ciders purchased from The Post Brewing earlier this year. The new bar features everything you love about Western livin', including peanut shells on the floor.

1610 Little Raven St. - Commons Park
You already know that we're coffee fiends here at Do303, so when we heard there was a new coffee shop opening near Commons Park, we had to go check it out right away. What we found was a quaint and cute spot offering not only coffee but also an assortment of craft cocktails and bites. Hello Darling is already vying for a top spot in our coffee hearts.

601 E. Colfax Ave. - Uptown
It wasn't easy saying goodbye to Tom's Diner when it closed down in 2020, but now, it'll be like we never did. Despite wanting to sell the spot and retire, owner Tom Messina changed his mind and decided to keep the place - albeit with a new direction. Tom's Starlight is inspired by Palm Springs vibes and will feature fancy cocktails, fire pits, and cabanas, all while keeping the Googie-design that we knew and loved about the diner.

2500 Lawrence St. - RiNo
Hot bread and good coffee - these are two things you can expect at Hearth, RiNo's newest bakery/coffee shop. Owner and baker Matt Quinlisk sources and mills local grains to create his homemade flour. The shop will sell that homemade flour along with various sourdough loaves, baguettes, bagels, pastries, shortbreads, cookies, and much more.

3120 Uinta St.
FlyteCo Brewing has just opened a second location in the former Stapleton Airport control tower, aptly named FlyteCo Tower. The restaurant/brewpub has taken inspiration from previous tenants Punch Bowl Social and kept the mini-golf course, bowling lanes, pool tables, arcade games, and more that were left behind. That means come for the beer and food, stay for the fun.

2826 Larimer St. - RiNo
When Owlbear suddenly closed in January, we were left with a void in our hearts and in our stomachs. However, we've got some amazing news: former Owlbear coworkers Esteban Gallardo, Michael Graunke, and Juan Pablo Llano have opened a new BBQ restaurant in the same spot! Supplied with two custom-built, Texas-style smokers that Owlbear owner Karl Fallenius passed on, Pit Fiend has taken up the tome to deliver some truly special, wood-smoked BBQ to the denizens of Denver. It's open Friday - Sunday from 11 a.m. until the food sells out.
